Earning money from prison jobs is much slower than earning money through completing favors for inmates, so if money is what you're after, inmate favors are the way to go. To earn this trophy, you must earn $1000 in the game. If you run out of bed items, start flushing down anything else you can pilfer out of the desks scattered around the prison. Start with taking the bed sheets and pillows off an inmate's bed since they are replaced every morning.
Grinding this trophy can easily take several in-game days, especially if the guards take a long time to finally stop by and clean up the mess when you finally DO cause a toilet to overflow. The best advice for this trophy: be patient. You could flush a single comb and flood the toilet one moment and the next moment you could flush three bottles of bleach and get nothing. Unfortunately, it's not the fact that the art of toilet-flooding isn't needed during the game that makes this trophy annoying it's the fact that flooding a toilet is completely random and does not appear to be affected by what you flush nor how much of it you flush. Because flooding toilets isn't necessary while playing through the prisons, it is best to save this trophy for post-game clean-up in the first prison, Center Perks. The only real benefit of flooding a toilet is to distract a guard, and even then the distraction only lasts about three seconds. While playing through the game normally, you will more than likely never have to flush a single toilet. There are toilets in every prison, though there are fewer toilets available in the later prisons. This trophy is quite possibly the longest and most annoying one in the game to unlock due to its random nature.
